#27: Check the amount of sodium in your protein! Salt is added to many canned foods, including beans and processed meats like ham, sausage and hot dogs. You may not be able to find any without any added sodium, but being aware that it’s added and comparing different brands could save you some sodium intake! So take a little extra time this weekend when you grocery shop to check the sodium content of that package of bologna.
