It’s Tuesday and time for our twenty-third tip to Lighten Up! Similar to yesterday’s post, we’ll continue with portion size!
#23: When you “Create My Plate” only 1/4 of your plate should consist of protein. Contrary to what we’re given at restaurants, where 3/4 of the plate is often protein, with a few starches or veggies thrown on the side. Be aware of how much you’re eating and know what’s correct for each food group! It’ll make a difference!
